I lived in Penang from 2011 to 2012 and set up my first Malaysian company in the Labuan special economic zone. Then back to Finland — and back to Penang in 2015 to start a game studio. The studio didn't make it, but I did.
Over the years, I've set up companies in Malaysia (both Labuan and the mainland), Finland, Hong Kong, and Delaware. I've worked with edtech companies and education exports, organised Slush Malaysia, and acted as a shareholder and advisor to several startups — and I still advise companies in Finland remotely.
In 2018, I founded Finnish Education Solutions Sdn Bhd (FEDS), of which FEDS Consulting is the spin-off.
I've bought consulting services, been disappointed by them, and learned to tell good providers from bad. I offer this experience to my clients: as Malaysia advisory, production resources, and board work.
